The food was amazing, but the hospitality was spectacular! We split a pie and it was so good with the fresh ricotta and basil. The slice held up and the crust was nice and crisp. Wings were crispy and flavorful. The owner came over and gave us some pastries to take home on the house after we had spoke for a little bit about their dough and the kitchen.

I know that others have praised Peter's Pizzeria in Pompano Beach before, but Johnny, Nicole, and Caesar made our first visit truly delightful! The white pizza--satisfying to this NY girl with a Brooklyn-born dad--was crispy, cheesy, garlicky, and had a delicious crisp-at-the-end and foldable-in-the middle crust, and the Ma's Margherita Pie with cupped pepperoni, basil, San Marzano tomatoes, and generous dollops of stracciatella was a huge hit! The stars of the show were definitely the huge portion of ricotta filled eggplant rollatini and the baseball-sized arrancini, which was creamy and savory on the inside and crispy and golden on the outside because it was fried to order in beef tallow. The rich ricotta, fresh basil, and robust, housemade sauce made it perfect, and the garlic knots were a great sauce delivery system for the extra sauce. Nothing went to waste. If you miss NY slices or just adore nona's homemade specialties, including tiramisu and pistachio Italian Donuts, you'll leave this place very happy. Try them, enjoy, and tell Johnny that Susan sent you. Mangia, mangia!

Today, was a first at Peter's Pizzeria, Pompano Beach, FL. Wow! After walkin' the beach, I was lookin' for some real New York-style pizza! Fuggedaboudit! You can taste old New York and knew, this wasn't Peter's first subway ride! As a home-grown NY native, the well-balanced flava of da sawce, cheese, fresh mushrooms-n-sawsages brought up great memories! The whole crew at front were amazing and friggin' welcoming! A little slice of New York down by the beach... thanks!

Delicious pizza and such a warm, welcoming atmosphere! It was our first time here after some friends from church kept telling us we had to come try it, so my wife and I finally decided to stop by. They had a great selection of pizzas to choose from by the slice, including several Sicilian options. As you can see from the pictures, we went with the Sicilian, and it was absolutely amazing! The manager was also kind enough to let us try two fried raviolis, which were delicious as well. We loved the experience and will definitely be back again, this time with the whole family for a nice sit-down meal!

I've been hearing allot of great things about Peter's Pizzeria in Pompano lately, so i decided to check them out. When i got there, Peter was in the restaurant and overheard me talking with my friends about Long Island Pizza, and it turns out he's from the Island also. This guy is a class act, he ages his dough for 3 days, gets his cheeses from Italy, and pours his heart into every Pie he makes. FTR, his staff was amazing, everyone there was friendly and on point. Let's get to the pizza, we ordered a Half Pepperoni Half plain pizza, and an Eggplant pie with Vodka sauce. I'm Plain Jane when it comes to pizza, but what came out of the oven was Peter giving us a taste of his restaurant with several types of pizza. There was pizza with vodka sauce, Grandmas Pizza, Sicilian slices (my personal favorite) with Mascarpone cheese, and then the star of the show, A half Plain half Pepperoni Pizza that was absolutely delicious. I normally go for plain, but the pepperoni were the small cup sized pepperoni you only see in NY, I had to have one, and it was a perfect blend of Cheese, Sauce, pepperoni flavor that wasn't overbearing and the crust was perfect.
